It's a New Year 2026

Another year has past us by,
Some things were great as 
other things made us cry.
We made memories to last,
recorded in our minds & books,
Forever they'll be a part of our past.
We've seen sickness for a loved one,
We've lost love ones along the way
We've cried when it wasn't any fun.
Now 2026 is upon us as we pray,
Things will bring us pleasure in
Health & happiness each day.
I see my family with cancer,
and Dementia with no help
I wish I could have the answers.
Why so many have to suffer this way
My biggest wish for 2026 is
To make all pain go away.
I wish for peace among all,
For happiness to be shared willingly
If someone is in need, be there for the call.
May the good Lord protect us each day,
Making us better loving, caring  people
To live without judging in any way.
No more wars to be fighting for greed,
To get along like family as we all are
We were born as family, as each we need.


I hope that 2026 is better than
2025 for all of you.
