(no intruders; just space, warmth, breath)

In space

I search

for years

of healing

for light-years...

Do you see the sundial?
Sunrays show it's
time to be
without her crushing -
ambivalent hand -

              time to be!

I thought I saw
a kindred light
but he was the darkness
- no shadow on my surface -
her twin,
her continuity.

Do you see?

              Do you hear?

I am the ticking
of my own clock
I am the breath
insufflated in mud
to begin life
against their murder
- cut-cripple-cut -
I give them back
what belongs to them
and redeem
space
            - My Place -

and in the middle

thrives

my pounding core

          Sunlit.

"Time to be" It took me a long time to reach that epiphany. Down with garbage, on with the new - into the sunlight of my own beauty. With each day, I like me more and more.

God bless you. Kathy

Masterful in its presentation! The rest?... is utterly, a musing in my head...bringing with it, the creativity and all the underlying casts of those, very bright! :)
So loved this!
Love and Peace~

A sundial, by night, is like a mind without a though.
Only the scream of solitude can be heard.

Axilea,

If one is to, do it up right, so to speak why not live, walk and breathe in a sunlit space. Let it be your time to shine. Peace, Love and Blessings Always, Paul.

the shadows may not show time but time does exist and goes on in a continuous cycle, we can like the sundial, step out of the light and perhaps time in our minds will cease to exist but when the space fills up and we return to the sun...time has still continued.

Or when there is only darkness, a sundial also loses its shadow. It needs the sun.

My first thoughts, but prolly way off the mark, was that this is being attached to one thing we are all stuck with, unless one happens to be peter pan. And that's our shadow. Metaphorical for being stuck with ones self...
