Going to the Drive In

Just finished work It's Friday night Gonna see a movie Were going to the Drive-In tonight Get the tickets go to the back row Tune in to the radio Nip to the pop-corn stand For some candies and a dog Bummer it's now raining hard Wipers and blower on all night Battery went dead no heart So we put our hood up and wait for a jump start The guy came by started our car He says: 'drive to the back and let er run a bit' After a while we rejoined the film Missed most of it ' Ah Shit' It is a lot of fun at the Drive In Like one big meeting point People from all around come by When there's no film we watch the night sky

I miss those glorious old Drive In days, my friend. Around here, they are all sadly long gone.
