“I am proud of my heart.
It's been played, stabbed, cheated, burned, and broken,
but somehow still works.”
Unknown (from the internet)

Poem Artwork

Would I be missed
If I was to disappear?
Would anyone notice
My absence
If I wasn't first of use
To them?
Alone.
So alone.
All I've ever wanted
Was to be wanted,
Not merely for being useful
But simply for myself.
Every longing in my heart,
Every wishful dream
In my soul,
Has been for one thing:
To love as I
Have always loved,
To truly mean something
To someone
Who would cherish me
Not because I am useful,
But because I am
Simply Me.

That is a genuine wish of the heart dear Rebecca, I pray that one day you will find such a person, until then I hope you know you are most important and loved to the Creator above, :)

I find that searching is the worst way to find. And sometimes you have to settle for something where you have to give a little bit more than you want to in order to have a relationship at all.

Anoka Time Vol. 2 Anoka Treatment Center Walls Crying out Drapetomania by Dr. Patrick ODougherty

Slaves who fled their masters were classified as insane. This term came from Dr. Samuel Cartwright who was an apologist for slavery in the pre-Civil War era. This release of my Anoka Time file is a look at slavery in the modern context of Minnesota N
