Beautiful to behold during daylight time,
tonight there would be no vic’try for either
but to set in motion the hideous nature of a crime
when Peter denied Christ and our Lord was chained by their
ideas of winning a war waged by a zealous man
who would become victorious over death in three days.
Hence, when He came forth from the tomb and extended His hand|
to Mary, He said, “Be not afraid.  I’ll set the way
for the world to  follow.  Go tell the eleven I stand
here no more, but prepare a heavenly place today.”
