A poem about childrearing in the age of hyper-capitalism. Using paraphrased and made-up pronouncements from a range of child related discourses - fairytales, child care texts and child development advice - the poem invites readers to look at the consequences to the psyches of infants and children of neo-liberal definitions of childhood.
