'The Witch Goddess of Snowdonia' was inspired by a visit to Mount Snowdon in North Wales around the time of the 2010 summer solstice. My brother Philip Irvine and I 'climbed' the mountain (if that's the word) and I paused half way up impressed by a mountain lake beneath us.
