*a rose is a rose by any other name...and smells as sweet.
Oh Anubis Possessor of hearts Protector of life everlasting As Sekhmet proclaims To cleanse the earth To find love in all things Oh Anubis What protection of the fertile Goddess Will be as she bursts forth with new vine? As you sit Patient and steadfast Guarding those that have passed before you Khepri moves the world along And thy shanks flinch As Thoth reigns in the underworld Patron of the scribes He who loves truth And hates abomination Oh Anubis Balance between two worlds Who shall know thee? Horace, Isis and Osiris The pinnacle three Pyramid of supremacy in their triangle As Gods and Goddesses Change names with every race Succumbing to the whims of a searching horde Thru time, everlasting From Re to Yahwe All things evanescent, yet constant in the heavens Oh Anubis With your eyes straight ahead to the future Your back to what has gone before I am thee You are I And WE are all together
