Randavu In A Cotton Patch
By La Belle Rouge

some couples will always
remember the day
when sexy eyes and a smile
took their breath away

their first randavu
in a fancy restaurant just right
or an expensive grand hotel
on their, special special night

but you and me Baby
we just aint quite right

down some dusty ole cowpath
in the middle of nowhere
in my dented up truck
oh yeah Darlin... I'll be there

cotton patches on both sides
cow piles in the middle
who cares if bo-do
smells more than a little

meet you in the cotton patch
neath a hot Carolina sun
I'll bring the Southen Comfort
and we'll have us some fun

you and me Baby
we aint quite right
we might sit in that ole truck
half the day and all night

hey, don't knock it people
if you aint tried it yet
a randavu in a cotton field
is as Southern as love can get

cause me and him
we aint quite right

only thing bettern'
truck parking in a cotton patch
is makin up after a fight

See my poor ole chewed up lips and my eye is as black as my hair roots Dayum my man is shore romantik.

Not the most flattering portrayal of certain lovers but definitely a very true and outright hilarious one. Romantic satire and cultural criticism all rolled up into one big ball of reading pleasure. Much gratitude,
