Wistful thoughts of yesterday......

HAUNTING APPARITION Talons Razor sharp Strangulations grasp Depression Bitter blue Piercing heartaches ambush Exacerbations throe How long shall melancholy�s rue Dominate me so Optimism pales In lugubrious dismay My lonely room grows algid Vanquished passions flame Silent grief remains Wistful thoughts of yesterday When love consumed my soul Her soft embrace still lingers Haunting apparition My empty bed Disheveled Moist with tears of anguish Bewildered reasoning False hope of compromise I wait in trepidation As grains of sand expire � Bill Grimes Jr. 2006
