DEAR LADY

In dreams you are beside me

Deep questions linger on

Will you receive me as I am

Embrace the man I’ll grow to be

Can you feel the essence

Of this poets soul

Childlike vulnerability

Awe surrounding me

Shall we walk together

Hand in hand as one

Dance upon the moonlit sand

Hold me as if I’ll break

Just because you want to

Kiss my lips so sweetly

Caress my aging brow

Ascend my lowest valleys

Traverse the highest peaks

Celebrate the simple joy of living

Feel my humble songs

Accept the fiery passion

Exploding deep within

Will you accompany me to the other side

In perfect harmony

Dear lady

Are you lonely

Searching for me still

I’ll wait for you in silent calm

My wife

Some day to come

Make me complete my love

I pray soon we shall meet
