Dedicated to my six new friends I met last night on a plane.......

SIX YOUNG MARINES Raleigh Durham airport Cincinnati bound Six young Marines Noble soldiers Fine men indeed With honor they ride Dreams of desert warfare Swirling through their well groomed heads Caught between duty and adolescence Carefree thoughts of home �Green� �Lopez� The silent warrior beside me I never got his name Delightful demeanor Jet lag be damned Our country to serve USO hospitality �Cinderella leave� So vibrant Polite Brimming with adventure A joy to share their trip Go in peace my friends God�s angels shall surround you HOORAH! � Bill Grimes Jr. 2007

God bless our Marines. No, God bless our Air Force, Navy, and Army, too! God bless ALL of our veterans, past and present (and future)! Beautiful reminder of our brave men and women; God bless you!
