Oh my what a haunting, yet realistic write...you've penned an offering that most everyone can relate to, if not they will. The powers of addiction are consuming our nation...so sad to see the suffering, the look of helplessness, the secrets, the lies and deception, and the children that are often left behind. Two years ago within my first grade classroom I had four students out of twenty four that had lost a parent due to addictions! Sad, but reality...we must pray on and try to be positive for those that are standing firm against their addictions and have faith in them, encourage them and believe in them....I have family members and friends who need help, they haven't yet admitted they have a problem, I have family members and friends who are striving daily to overcome...a wonderful write my friend, written from the heart. I think this is my favorite write of yours thus far, they are all wonderful, but this one touched me deeply. A keeper that I will revisit! Stay strong...

So very sad to be around people so desperate and unapproachable. Had a few friends and cousins die from drugs.....

Bill, very well told, it's sad when people get caught up in a world of drugs and that ends up being their whole life. A great read!
