This is absolutely beautiful words and the way I've felt since I lost both my Mom and Dad, thank you for these words from your heart.

I don't want to say goodbye to my mom, who passed away 16 months ago. It doesn't get any easier with time does it? Thinking of you.

Sweet and evocative. I, too, wrote a poem to my father. I don't believe those one loves ever really leave us. I, for one, am always quoting my mother or father...

Tilly,
This poem touched my heart in many ways. I have also lost my Dad to congestive heart failure many years ago. I wasn't ready to say goodbye either. So many more memories I would have liked to make with him, many more I Love You's, I know he is in a much better place now, but the pain of missing him and my Mama will always be there.

Your poem is so sad and beautiful. I lost my Dad 10 years ago and like you, was not ready at all. They tell me it gets easier but I still miss him and probably will until I do see him again. Bless You and so sorry for your loss.
