In the dark mists of time,
A fog is lifted for a while
And I see you there, smiling,
Holding my hand and laughing.
Time goes by, ages pass away,
The mist grows thicker day by day.
Sometimes I remember, sometimes forget.
Life is hard, I take what I get.
Will I find you ever again?
Do I want to see you again?
Questions that have no answer
If I find the answer, will it stop the pain?
Who are you I see in the clouds?
Searching for you among the crowds.
Did I pass you by, or did you not see me?
Will our paths cross each other’s again?
My life is strange, so silent, so alone,
I stand by and watch, a statue of stone.
A single tear escapes and flows,
Who knows? Who has ever known?
Come and rescue me, I am a Romantic,
I am a Princess, you my Knight Shining.
Yes! I deserve to be won, wooed and tamed.
My Quest will continue, till the day I end!
Very romantic and mystical. There is always that knight waiting in the mist to emerge. At the right moment, when time converges, the Celestial clock flows backwards in Times Arrow. The knight steps from the mist through its axis.

This is lovely, all quests like this should end so well :)
