I hesitated to post this one. Not exactly appetizing material. After much thought, I decided, "What the hell."
Maybe these words will speak to someone in a way they can relate to; I don't know. They needed to be said, and so, here it is.
I am not feeling like this. I AM FINE.
i might as well stick the pen up my ass with the poems i've written as of late - real stinkeroos, they are, squirting from my Muse in brown floods of smelly ink, staining my underwear with metered verse and rhyme. there's a virus going around; there is little warning when it will strike. a cramp in the deepest recesses of my gut signals it is coming, and there's nothing that i can do but watch some of the words bleed onto the page that i'm sitting on. i'm embarrassed to admit that the mess i've made is mine.

FANTASTIC!! So glad you didn't hold this one in, Karla (painful!!) as the concept is just BRILLIANT! And I think only YOU could do this, no holds barred! You are so unconventional, unique and out-n-out courageous... and it ALWAYS pays off bigtime! WTG (although not, if you see what I mean... your pants would be on fire by now otherwise!) The only sad thing about this is that it rather disproves the premise of your argument, I am afraid... oh dear! What a pity!! 'Fraid you're just GONNA have to put up with the fact that you are a FANTASTIC poet, Karla, and take your (hot!)seat in the Rogues' Gallery along with the rest of us here! Can so identify with this feeling... hang on a minute... what's that rumbling in my stomach..................................h-e-l-p......... We all go through the phases where our writings are not appealing. I've been known to wad many a sheet of paper and wastecan it, not liking what I've done. You'll pull through; we always do.

The hardest thing for a writer to do is to write in emotions that they are not feeling, themselves at that moment. You have excelled in this feat. Great write.
Karla, for one - I love this one!! Writing is about expressing yourself and you just did it so well!!! You feel its schitt, it stinks up the page - not that it is - but your rage and disappointment shows. I love it! Great write, sweets!!!

Is this one of them? Chill out. Do what you do and the writing will come.
You need to believe in yourself more and quit trying so hard! Just write as you see fit, and never mind what other people seem to think! I happen to like how you write, and so do a lot of other people! Your writing has taken off like gangbusters, and it is exciting to see how your muse and writing have prospered! Now get out of that funk, and WRITE, WRITE, WRITE!!
