... it will be a welcome sight ....

Poem Artwork

Spring is just around the
bend, temporarily
stilled.  But hope is coming:

when it bursts open in
a thousand different
colors, it will be a

welcome sight to those who
are weary of Winter's
monochromatic brush.

Bare tree limbs will adorn
themeslves in brilliant shades
of green.  Flowers will yawn

themselves awake from the
Long Sleep.  The sky will fill
with clouds warmed by the sun.

Don't give up.  The cold and
snow can't last forever:
Hold on.  It won't be long.

I am not ready for spring. Sorry. We really haven't had a winter ... the cold, yes; snow not so much. It bites!! NOT your poem, that's great, and so is the piccy, but the lack of snow is what bites! LOL Thought I'd clear that up ... :D Well done!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. :D

As I gaze at the sturdy geranium in full bloom on my deck at 29°, I am grateful that I left the scene you describe behind. However, I do miss spring and fall.
