In celebration of World Poetry Day I have written 10 very non-traditional haiku/senryu...Or just three line of my own creation :-)

Cherry blossom Blooms Then falls Hot then cold Weather Between seasons From millions of miles The sun Kisses the leaf goodnight Long after the gardener has gone Red roses Flower In the trees Birds Have a lot to say Blue sky said, ‘You think I’m spectacular… Wait for sunset!’ Stars in night sky Twinkle Their mystery Coming around again The sun Gives every chance Crossing the sky Bats fly With purpose All the little things Make A big difference

I agree. All the little things in life make a difference. We tend to forget this. We must remember to smell the flowers.

The wonder of nature never ceases to catch the poet's eye. Love these little vignettes of natural wonders. In a way, it reminds me of my diabolical little poem, Little Things. ;-)
