Dang, it's w i n d y out there: hold onto yer hats (and everything else!). :)

Sustained between 30-40 mph, gusts to over 55. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!

For all of the progress
I'm making against the
wind, walking in place, up
against a wall pushing
me back into the steps
I've already taken,
I should become a mime.

(c) 2007, Karla Dorman (2/24)

You sure have a clever way with words, Karla. You always manage to make me smiles when reading your offerings. I agree, windy days can make it look as if you're performing in mime! :) Terrific job!

God Bless
Much love

It's been sooo very cold too here in Toronto Canada these past several days. I'm glad that Spring is just around the corner.

The funny things is....well, one should laugh of other's misfortunes, but imagining you like a modern Don Quixote with flapping arms agains the wind...pulls the smile's band.
Please don't go out!!!! 55 mph are no jocking matter, better live without a quart of milk than drink it standing on a broken leg.
Take care.

I know the feeling. Once while I was in downtown Atlanta during a wind storm, I had to hold onto something. I didn't know winds could whip throuh building "canyons" like that.

It is windy and rainy here in the Houston area, too, Karla. The Houston rodeo parade is this morning and those poor trail riders coming into the area are going to be drenched, not to mention everyone attending the parade. Hang in there! Cute write,

Jill
