Aww ((KARLA)))..you have expressed what every good writer feels. I say "good" writer A.) because you ARE one, and B.) because expressing feelings - the good, the bad, and the ugly ones - is what writing is all about!

Writing helps to share ones inner feelings . It expesses our fears doubts , loves, feelings,hopes and frustrations. You have a unique way of opening your soul and sharing your thoughts with others. We all have our good and bad times. Keep writing !!!! GOD BLESS.......M
Hitting a wall with your head doesn't give the wall a headache just another lump on your head, and that will be just as an inspiration to write a poem as anything.

Karla there is only One perfect
and that would be God. We as human will often
get mad, frustrated, sad and weary. A true friend
would not criticize you when you are down but
lend a helping hand to pick you up.

When you answer your own, "why's" you will have the answer that will have you smiling from that day on.
I have felt this way, too; don't worry about it. I wish I could get more on my stories than what I do on my poetry; as I have told you before, I don't consider myserlf a poet; I am a storyteller first and foremost! I wish for you more reviews on your poetry; those reviews certainly help elevate your mood and make you feel like the poet you are. Write for YOU; write because you CAN, write because you DO. Don't EVER give up! And know this: you are one of the most respected poets here at the Den! OKAY?? I love you, dear sister of mine! :)

Often we feel inferior especially when it comes to our art...that is a natural feeling though and only a nariciss would not feel it from time to time. Your work is good Karla but as we all know critics are often fickle and we must write what we like and if they like it..it's a bonus if they don't F em.
I've always said we write because we MUST... I'd love to have hundreds read and review my poems but I write them because my soul MUST bleed onto the paper occassionally. Sometimes we scream, sometimes we whisper, sometimes we sing... But ALWAYS we MUST share our poetic souls with the wind in hopes it blows past receptive ears.
Now you have another review. You inspired another to respond. But remember... You have the heart of a poet and it MUST continue to pump the product of your inspiration through your veins. Keep up the good work.
Because you lost sight of the child of God you truly are, perfect in His sight and suffering your way to His heavenly perfection. It helps if we can remember this life is only temporary, we are destined for eternity in a perfect place with our Savior!My prayers are with you, and I know you'll get through this, to your next higher phase of excellent poetry!Write /soar on Karla!
