there's a whole lotta disatisfaction,
there's a whole lotta folk reactin',
you got your diff'rent people--other factions,
they get together, it's a distraction,

they're killin' each other, blood's on the streets,
someone dissed another, called her a cheat,
someone kills a cop that was on the beat,
someone's on death row...home's made of concrete,

someone's in the gutter, they're stoned on crack,
her father's dead...he was shot in the back,
there was that awful terrorist attack,
this world's screwed up--it has gone out of whack,

the rich steal from the poor, every day,
the young abuse the old in ev'ry way,
christians are becoming such easy prey,
hate is quickly becoming mankind's trait,

forgettin' they're human beings, awright,
why does it matter if they're black or white?
why hate each other and why must they fight?
we are all brothers--stand up now--unite,

it's long past time we stop layin' the blame,
the old excuses have become so lame,
we are God's children...we are all the same,
it's time we stop playin' the color game!!!!
