Dark love.

Lightning beckons, with needy fingers.
"Come to me.  Come to me."
He invites me to join him in his dance.
"Come to me.  Come to me."
He calls to me.  His voice, chills and lingers.
"Come to me.  Come to me."
I am hypnotized, by evil, entranced.
"Come to me.  Come to me."

I can't ignore the power in his voice.
"Come to me.  Come to me."
So I head out into the stormy night.
"Come to me.  Come to me."
He calls my name.  I don't have any choice.
"Come to me.  Come to me."
I am forced to raise my hands to the light.
"Come to me.  Come to me."

He caresses me, it burns like fire!
"Come to me.  Come to me."
We are connected, and we become one.
"Come to me.  Come to me."
In incandescence I am attired.
"Come to me.  Come to me."
Used up, burned up, thrown aside when he's done.
"Who will be next to come to me?"

This is a striking poem that takes the readers' conscious mind for a while.

I was speechless on the first reading. Very profound an interesting subject is dealt here.

I enjoyed the reading.

(((Karla)))

At first, when I saw the title, I thought you were writing about the northern lights again; guess I was wrong! LOL WOW, what an intense, dark, and graphic description~ I'll make sure that I'll ignore the call of the lightning next time it storms! LOL

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. :D

I was (AHEM!) "struck" by the beauty of this write! LOL
