Someday I'll Come a Dove

Mountain Angel...Sitting high upon a cloud...A lesson given...Through the heart of every Man....

Bows the head of a Mountain Angel

Sitting high upon a cloud

Mourn her in sorrow

A Widow's heart to break before the setting sun

For

Her eyes have seen

The Widow's husband

Fall to the ground

Surrounded by his Brothers

Others in the Clan

Tonight

A  lesson given

Through the heart

of

Every Man

No more trying to steal the affection

of

Another Brothers wife

Sneaking through her window pane

His Brother

Caught them in the act

In anger her Mans gun explodes

Forgive me God he spoke

Now

Cry a sweet Mountain Woman

Picking wild flowers a side the mountain

Now

Gathers the Clan before your husband's grave

Weep your husband's soul gone to Heaven

Lay flowers gently before his stone

Whisper to him

Farewell my Love

In sweet song she praises

Someday

I'll come a Dove your way

In Heaven she does pray

Stunning though such a tragic and painful poem story. It really triggers the sadness of a family.
