Dark...They sense my gloom...Having heard my cries...I wish...

The Ravens hover

Bodyguards of my gothic soul

They sense my gloom

Having heard my cries

In the night

The madness I bare

Eluding his foul being

I wish a wicket death

His soul reaps

In my dreams

I stand there free

While the Raven’s feast like Buzzards

Upon his wretched soul

In my dreams

I wish

I wish

I wish

im a little lost as to what the wishing is...
is it wishing that your dreams would be different?
that the ravens wouldnt be such vultures?

dreams are the weirdest things.
i rarely remember mine unles theyre majorly extreme.

id think about adding a little punctuation to this piece as i think it would add to the power of the imagery... you have some very dark, powerful and gloomy imagery in here which makes my heart sink...
if my dreams were going to be this scary i think i would simply refuse to sleep XD

Omega Factor by John Henning
