For my friend BJ, upon her wedding.
A Woman of Influence A woman of influence Knows who she is in the world Is certain that no door is truly sealed And is free to make the choices of her heart. A woman of influence Shares her smile and her sharp wit The ups and downs of life�s road And the myriad contents of her purse. A woman of influence Has lived life many ways Faced harsh sun and biting wind And weathered the storms of her time. A woman of influence Gets her hands dirty with service Collects and heals wounded souls And freely gives of her own spirit. A woman of influence Practices charity, grace, humor, and tough love Says the things other never dare And needs no official title to be A woman of influence.
