I feel that when I'm delayed, It's God wanting me to slow down and spend some quality time with him or just take time for myself. Life is such a hassle at times that we forget to slow down. What comes next for you? I guess I'll have to wait and see.
Oh, I understand just what you're saying!! How many times have you waited up to 2 hours for a scheduled doctor's appointment? It seems the system just doesn't care how long you wait anymore. When things like this happen to me, I pull out my little cassette recorder (or my notebook) and I create songs, poetry, listen to one of my audio study tapes, or make future plans. Anything, to fill up the precious hours of my life with something I want to do! You're right -- What comes next? Good write, HB!
