The air not right tonight
City skyline's peppered
in a monsoon of sad verses
as Naruda weeps from the
heavens and I from memory
The very thought of existence
within the flock-Charmed by
a little girl's smile and two
Revolutionary heirs with
Masons for guardians
Brick by brick walls built
that encompass and ultimately
divide-Large partitions fortified
in denial cornerstoned with
superficial comprimise.
Souls stand ground
while hearts give in to
the mind's trickery-Cheapening
a friendship one brick
at a time
The feelings and the metaphor go hand in hand.

Be safe,
