This piece is supposed to be about Flight 93. It's very hard to write about. If you've seen the movie, you've cried. Murderers, in my opinion, are spiritually or otherwise diseased, so, I think we have to cry for them too or, let's face it, for all humanity.

The sick bloody bastards
Drew Satanic breaths
Then proceeded with plans
To slay what was precious
Those messages of love
The messengers of hate
Both filling the skies
Both early and late
The sick bloody bastards
Drew their numbered breaths
Then proceeded with plans
To change lives not theirs
Fear and hysterics
rubbed all is calm
and the God of Christians,
Jews, Allah
The sick bloody bastards
Drew their labored breaths
Are you listening?
Are you listening?
Are you listening, Saeed?
Come in, in deep,
Where my heart is rent
Displace its lumpy rot,
Its stagnant stench
Though all of us know
He said to turn the other
I forgot, you know--
My cheek is a mother.

Very well done. I brings to the surface the horror and depravity of those events, and all their various deeds. You insightfully pinpoint the origin as being satanic. "He is a liar and the father of them," Jesus said.
Thanks for this hard-hitting work.

I have not seen the movie only the clips of it and I am not sure I want to. I still can not figure out why and how most Americans have forgotten. We are not in this war because someone called us a name. They killed over 3000 Americans, like it or not we are trying to halt the death of THREE MILLION more. Hard hitting poem and perfectly presented!
