Whyen all is said and done is a good write, coming from your heart. It is settled and shows you are final in your thoughts and deeed when the right time comes. I did like this. Rading a few of your writes at random this morning and this one says lots to me about lost friendship never to be revived which I had some too. Everyone does at some points in their life, we are all alike living and loving and losting. Must go on with life whateever.
A wistful look at love, and an enjoyable make-you-think poem. Sometimes we just love too much NOT to take them back, even when they're not good for us. Well done, Randall.

As Chantilly said, I enjoyed this very much. It's light, it gives a glimpse into a relationship that has its ups and downs, but one you find worth renewing. I love the way you cut to the chase in the last verse--"I'd spare you the bore and just open the door."
I also enjoyed reading your bio just now. I like your style, but I avoid those "R" ratings & usually even the unrated until I get to know the poet's work and know what to expect.
