In my heart I harbor

Your voice, your mien, your eyes

And fairly often hear or see

One, or perhaps all three

In this heart I harbor still

Great memories of us together

We laughed and played

Each cried and made

Up in every weather

This heart will partly

Beat always for you

And rue the storm that hit

That day I have etched

A hell in my mind

God knows storms are unkind!

I hope that in that harbor two ships don't pass each other one night.

Storms do a couple things, either destroy or cleanse, sometime both at once.

God also knows that passion in man is much like the atorms. They become a vortex in the heart and love is the core.
Always.

Randall,

Yes they are. But there is a terrible beauty to them, too ...

Excellent expression of loss.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :(
