Old writer you are

Penning words here and there

Now and then

Seeing the truth

But only

When aided by lens

Old writer, you still dream

Pipe’s up in the attic

And there on the desktop

Lies your silent plume

It awaits, like an old hand.

Old hands hold so much love. Dreams and memories are what make life worth living.

Well penned.

Who can compare to the old writers? I fear not many...When they are lost to memory in the far future, there will be none their equal to replqce them. Superb poem!

Dear Randall,

I would love to just be the one who sweeps the words from the floor of these old writers. Really enjoyed this poem.

Love & Light always and in all ways,

Just 'cause there's snow on the roof and the old eyes ain't what they used to be ain't no excuse to give up writin': they're gonna have to pry my cold dead fingers from the pen when I'm gone. LOL

Well done, Randall, beautifully written advice to never give up the dream.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
