I want to take one of those
Mr. Clean magic erasers and
smudge out the existence of
that which has caused this
dull heart grief.
For that soul is nothing more
than a stain upon the floor of
life, a black streak left there
by some unsuspecting fool
who has scuffed the tiles while
walking by.
Oh to smudge out those pesky
fingerprints that have been left
upon my soul! Now that would
be a good use for a Mr. Clean
magic eraser.
