Dance With The Rain
Lets go dancing in the rain,
As it falls at midnight, so
That we might conjure up
Joys untold. Lets be silly
And put our fears on hold,
Just for this one night, as
The storm unfolds. Lets
Feed from the energy that
Flows so freely with each
Flash of lightning, and
Relish the thunder as it rolls
Through the clouds as we
Dance at midnight in the rain.
Lets lift our faces skyward,
Tasting the drops as if they were
Tears, a million tiny shards
Of despair to be washed away
Along with our fears. Come with
Me, lets dance, dance the night away
At midnight in the tumult of this
Raging storm, so we might live again.

....LAURA, LAURA, LAURA!!!!!!!! So simple but sewn just so to make it a sweet storm to read. I liked these lines: "Tasting the drops as if they were-Tears, a million tiny shards" ... Sounds like a good cry to me! You have the heart of a true poet.
Thanks,
