Cold against the skin, it is,
Frosty yet serene. Like a blanket,
Winter’s Love comes floating down,
To provide a blanket of whiteness
Over the lands. Within Winter’s
Grasp, a soul doth die, alone.
For these Winter snows doth fall
Within the realm of Summer, within
The coldness of the heart, as Love has
Withered and died.
There is no Sun to shine down its
Light of warmth, to crack the ice
Which enshrouds this heart. There
Are no tender moments in which
This soul lives, only the vast coldness
And icy grip of Winter’s falling Love
