Sojourn

By the wayside, there sits Love,
Waiting patiently for that special one.
The very one to set the world to rites,
To grant voice to one which hath never
Spoken of such grandness, only dreamed it.
The singsong of the Heart that sets sail
Upon calm waters, as the soft light o’ the Moon
Filters down upon it. A sojourn of the Soul,
To mingle with the cool waters as it dips its
Trembling hand, splashing delicate drops
Of life, bringing forth a serene sense of
Unity to what was once so dark without the
Light of an eternal Moon to guide. Delicate
Is the Heart, and full of strength is the Soul.
