Locked within the mind, this is my sentence,
strapped down and sedated within, trance like
state, catatonic and useless.
I want out ...
I can't find the key. I thought I'd placed it some
where safe, so this would not happen. Yet, here
I stand, looking stupid in the middle of my mind.
Then I look, only to find that there is no door to
speak of. There are only four walls to stare at,
with a floor and a rather low ceiling, which does
seem to be shrinking.
Your form is incredibly complimentative to your poetry and your words. Not to mention the "story line" behind it is pretty well thought out and written. Interesting, intriguing and makes you think.
The songs and art in this book are about our collective emergence after the pandemic and trauma of the last few years - comprised of 5 collections: World as Refuge, Where We Live, In Our Hands, Rhythms of Change and What We See & Sow.
Dear readers, this is my third book of poems, and inside are a special collection of what have turned out to be not only MY personal favorites, but also the favorites of many of YOU. Some of these have never been available in print before...
Thank You,
