Take Flight
(c) 2007
Dan Johnson
Hey gal Won't you take flight with me!
As you lay in slumber deep,
let me wish you a lovers dream,
Gently join me, please,
We’ll go over the hills,
cross the streams,
Over the peaks of firs, hemlocks
And other rooted schemes.
Sleep with me through summer nights
We’ll join together in star-ship light.
From one majestic place to another,
Hand in hand,
with you,my night time,
Lover.
