Inconsistencies of love

Poem Artwork

Single again there is no doubt,
a lot of things I do without.

A friend to worry over me when I'm sick,
A hound of hell to cut me to the quick.

Someone who loved me, tried and true ,
could also make me feel so blue.

A partner for life, to me were you,
alone, again, self reliant, I'll do.

I cannot help the way things went,
Just know my love will ne'er be spent.

Walt

Oh, I feel this, Walt. And admire greatly your heart-felt vulnerability and yet courage to face these waves of clashing emotions head on. When personal lives become a maelstrom, guess, heading into the storm, while it's raging, getting through it and out the other side... THEN actually finding your bearings and trying to navigate a steady new course is a very confusing time, not being able to see the beginning from the end. Thank you for this. And for your openness to share it. Honest and orientating. Bless you, Kate xx

Saying good-bye is always difficult on all levels. Time to look into the sunlight and begin anew. You are not alone.......

It isn't easy when love strays but there is always a new beginning and I do hope you find it, wishing you the best.

It takes strength to start anew but sometimes it is for the best and we need the new beginning if we are to begin to live again.

As one who knows that feeling well, I can sympathize, my friend.

Oh Walt, it will be better. At the beginning, unending pain, then slowly it fades to a dull inconstant pain. It will be better, I promise.

sad but respectful nevertheless-i do believe that once we love, we don't stop it just changes the way it looks
