A poem about a guy taking his girl friend to a halloween party

A Halloween Party

He tip toes in the darkness, where the shadows cannot hide

Inhaling the flavors of the night, as the monster takes his bride

I can hear the sound of something evil, howling in the wind

As he gently bites her neck, exposing a thin layer of her skin

It is the daunting mode of secrecy beneath a star lite sky

Dispensing a fearsome night, where someone had to die

And yet, he continued to tip toe through the darkness as it may

Manifesting that of wickedness amongst the weakened prey

It is Halloween night and they are ready to meet and greet

All the characters at the party that will make the night complete

There are pumpkins, vampires, witches, werewolves and ghost

And bloodthirsty, crawling creatures, creeping from coast to coast

It is a party to remember as he tip toes through the night

Searching in the darkness for a bride that he would bite

Inhaling the flavors of the night as the monster takes his bride

Enjoying a Halloween party with his girl friend at his side
