Foreboding horizons!
Twisted curtains shroud
The winded trees
Gray the landscapes pout
Blackbirds flee
I in the eye
Looking down on me
Severely from the sky
Somewhere else I’d like to be
Yet foreboding plies
Its brow on high
Strikes once, than twice
From the thundering sky
Clenched in hand
My staunch belief
They’ll understand
the thread be brief
But under fire from the sky
I doubt a moment
And asked for reasons why
Such torment
Fear I thought, of death
Fear I thought, of life
Mc Beth
And strife
Thoughts fleeing as the wind
Black gusts travel
Across the landscape of the mind
Almost me unravel
Curtains of trenched cloth
A distant scarecrow drape
Looks much like me it does
Returning from a wake
Steadfast though I’m still
Only shaken to the core
Climb back upon that hill
Where I stood before
A bridge to heaven
Bowing to my feet
In a span of seven
All despair defeat
Veils of darkness lifted neigh
Drift darkness into light
Like angels wings on high
Guided by Gods might

Only shaken to the core
Climb back upon that hill
A constant struggle to defeat those dark clouds, yet we must somehow attempt to persevere.
Powerfully emotive, powerfully penned excellence. Well done!
