If I feel empowere to destroy your creation, I must think that I am entitled, and probably feel, I might do it better. Bullying your way though life, speaks to that, it also says, I don't care, I break the law if I have to, nature's law, is just one of them.

If it’s threaded, screw it!

Things fit together as they should,

Then hail the human genius.

Better than the God’s they knew,

Where things they should be put.

They turned and turned it, manipulated,

Till it made sense to them

Busy little bees their brains

Soon all to be outdated,

It was difficult for them to see,

Arrogance took hold,

They screwed around and then again,

They could not leave it be,

But, deserts they could make,

And rank polluted seas,

All a piece of cake and more,

It wasn’t good enough for heavens sake,

They knew the flood was in the wake

Apparently there was a warning,

Surely, there were so many.

But then again, it was a piece of cake.

The smart ones stayed at home my friend,

For they just couldn’t bear,

To associate with such a kind

Until the very end

When all was still and quiet then,

No more cries or screams were heard,

The Raven though, its voice it shared,

Again once more, with all its ken,

All were together in this mess,

The geniuses they all had drowned,

So we started from the bottom pond,

It takes some time I must confess,

Now again I hear him call,

With fire you are playing,

But do they listen I may ask?

Voices though they scream from towers tall,

Despite our smarts a built in fixture,

There are others too,

A multitude of kinds,

There are others in the mixture.

And though the sirens blared and blared,

 All were deaf to hear.

Most all were deaf and dumb,

And few there were that cared.

It’s different now somehow,

We are almost out of birds and bees,

Meadows and of trees,

Yet still to God we bow,

But, he’s fed up with us all.

Let the brains rebuild it,

They’re so much smarter so they think,

Let them make the call.16/01/2017

I would paraphrase, "if it's [threatened], screw it." Some of us have little regard for the natural world we live in. That kind of thinking has to be eliminated and very soon but we will go the way of all things--to death.
