Althought I am not religious I am spiritual this poem The Light of Angels is my Candle of Hope. It is written for all the Angels of the Heavens, all the Angels of the Earthy world. All the wonderful messengers who continue through time to pass...The Candle of Hope - The Promise of Life Forgiveness of Sins. As was passed to mankind by the first candle of hope Jesus.
The Light of Angels
Celestial messengers, heavenly angels with wings
and earthly angels with invisible wings - both swift
silently, with sweet articulations bring
The Promise of Life - for us to lift
Our thoughts from darkness, deprivation, woe,
help to make peace for our world today
with endless harmony, we want to know
that hope for mankind is on it’s way.
These lovely holy visitors, whisper low
awaking our consciousness
Preparing a purer place where love may grow,
making our eternal candle light -almost a caress
Of God’s love for you, me- for us to share
an infinite supply-
A heritage beyond all rubies rare,
Which gold can never buy.
Ambassadors these Angels - clothed in light,
They only can perceive,
Who turn from the horrors of the night
Helping us all to believe
As when the faithful Magdalene beheld,
beside the yawning tomb,
Life’ promise heard the words which spelled
The end of death and gloom.
