Life get rather hectic at times, and it can make it seem like running around in circles as a hamster does in its wheel.

Sometimes I feel like my life
is just going round and round,
Repeating the same mistakes
and forgetting what I have found.

It's as if some days I'm running
in a spinning hamster wheel;
Life goes by in a blur
and nothing seems quite real.

It takes a good bit of effort
to get out of that hectic race,
To slow down and savor each moment
at a calmer, more peaceful pace.

By avoiding the vicious cycle,
being able to break away,
The important aspects of life
can be noticed and treasured each day.
