Moody River

I am tired of keeping on keeping on, so now is time for a swim in the Moody River

I am going to the Moody River to drown my sorrow,
I am just so damn weary and just don't care about tomorrow!
I jump in, keeping my eyes open as I blissfully sink down,
Smiling as the water steals my breath and I drown.
It is like free fallin, weightless, like in the womb,
I have once again returned, but now the water is my tomb.
Nude I was born and nude I die,
I have no more shackles, now my soul can fly.
As my lifeless body floats aimlessly,
It is no longer my cage, I am finally free.
No longer made to smile when I want to cry,
I gladly tell a loveless life good-bye.
Nature and I are now one,
My old journey has now ended and my new one has begun!

You will be not floating in that Moody River, you will be resting on my arms that will be made of warmth waves, and the drowning will be not the painful lack of air but of lungs filling up with tenderness.

It would be great SC if we could just drown our sorrows, but it isn't that easy. Think of the good things life has to offer and grasb ahold of them.

Weariness can truly feel like an undertow.

(I jump in, keeping my eyes open as I blissfully sink down,

So expressive here. Sending some lines your way this made me think of... and ((Hugs and LOve)) as always ;)

Ok Hon, this is jest a write right? Because if it isn't can I go with you? This old life is constantly beating me down and I, too, am tired. The men I attract are either taken or want to wear my underwear, joke's on them, so a swim down Moody River sounds good to me.

Sad but understandable even if we don't agree with giving up on life. The song itself brings back memories of another time. Great write SC..

I would have loved you, But No, now your floating
down a moody river.
Come back to me, I will love you till the end of something.
Oh, but your dead now. Goodbye my love goodbye. All the
fishes will love you now
