Doe-eyes was of marrying age,
She was being courted by many a handsome brave.
Her father, Lone Elk, was very vexed,
As she turned up her nose at each one and said,"Next!"
Lone Wolf watched all of this with amused eyes,
He knew that Doe-eyes was his woman, he had seen it written in the night skies.
He made no move to join in,
He'd let her make fools of the other men.
He had watched her bathe at the waterfall daily, quite alone,
He had seen her nude splendor and it had made his manhood moan.
He watched her splash and play like a child,
She was unaware of his watching, she thought that there was no one around for miles.
After her bath, she preened nude on a big rock,
Her lovely, full breasts called to him, putting his body into shock.
His dark eyes caressed her body, it took his breath,
He smiled knowingly, Doe-eyes could grant him much happiness.
His fevered body ached to hold her near,
She would be his woman, he had no fear.
He had many fine horses to give Lone Elk, so she could be his bride,
Soon Doe-eyes would dwell at his side.
Her antics to escape marriage, made chuckles rumble through his chest,
She stuck her tongue out at each suitor, with great spirit she was blest.
Tomorrow at her bathtime, he would steal her away,
He smiled at Father Sun, for tomorrow would be a very good day!
