As you ride the rough waves of life, you are in constant motion and there is no time to exhale and feel calm.

Snug and secure in your little nest,
Taking some time to exhale and rest.
Then off in the distance comes a thundering sound,
Then there is some quaking and shaking, as your world tumbles down.
Dazed and confused, you start to shudder,
As you sit amid the chaos, ashes and clutter.
How did this happen?, you are just stunned,
You know now that there is no place safe for you to run.
Will you rise from the ashes?, Do you even want to try?
It would be much easier, to just lay down and die.
You close your eyes and just sigh,
You grieve for what was and sadly tell it good-bye.
You say a prayer for strength, to carry on,
The road ahead is rough and long.
It is still ringing in your ears, that awful sound,
The sound of your world as it tumbled down.
