When pain gets too much, I go to Mother Sleep,
She gathers me close in her cloak of darkness, black and deep.
Slices of death, so peaceful and still,
My mind is at rest, with no commitiments to fulfill.
Drifiting peacefully in sleeps black sea,
I feel no pain or hurt, there is just solitude for me.
I am seeking and getting peace of mind,
For the moment, I am leaving all my troubles behind.
Sleep is an all powerful means of dealing with some of life's greatest difficulties. Works for me, and when I wake up feeling refreshed, I can and will conquer the world.
The songs and art in this book are about our collective emergence after the pandemic and trauma of the last few years - comprised of 5 collections: World as Refuge, Where We Live, In Our Hands, Rhythms of Change and What We See & Sow.
