The Light
It’s the light that’s guiding us
With Its pure and limpid rays
With its fruit, our earth is feeding us
Humans enjoy in their careless ways
Stars are shining bright at night
Inspiring those who watch
Let’s quietly follow Your light
Of which a glimpse we catch
From the bottom of our pious heart
We ask how could we help, and what
Let’s work with skill and art
To cheer up those less fortunate
Humans are able to bring the light
And love will guide those who stray
The holy books, we like to cite
Are not in vain, they clearly say :
“In the beginning is the Word”
Each human has a role to play
To follow the Light’s wisdom, we heard
It comes to our hearts when we pray
And those who act and hope
Will find the Father’s way.
