This is about a Gorilla at the Dallas Zoo who attacked some people in March of 2004. They have been locked up until yesterday when they were let back out. They were let back out with VAST improvements in the system though!
He was a kind and beautiful animal. A Magnificent creature in size; so gigantic! He attacked some people and thus was shot, he died. He shall be missed. The other Gorilla's at the Dallas Zoo are priceless to watch.

Yes, I always feel badly for the animals in some zoos, although many are very well-kept. You wonder if we were taken from our natural surroundings and put someplace far from others like ourselves, maybe we would strike out as well. Well-done, thoughtful piece.

i can't imagine the terror people must have felt when that one escaped...too bad his life was ended by overzealous policemen
any animal is precious to watch, but i especially enjoy seeing them in wild life preserves, where they are free-er to roam (like at fossil rim)
