How our family celebrated the 4th of July at my Granny's house and then had a birthday celebration too for my eldest sister, Anna, who turned 40 in late June.
Family togetherness, Birthday celebration too. Celebrate Texas Style! Swimming and then fruit as appetizers. Main meal of Ham, Potato Salad, and jello. Carrot cake for dessert! Then, presents for Anna! I happened to be in the other room, writing poems! (Who knew? LOL!) It was a nice night. Anna got everything she wanted. Anna is classy and elegant. She has a different air about her. She can always find a bargain on sale too! She loves her kids with all her heart and soul. She takes the time to learn about "Asperger's Syndrome", for her child. She is an advocate for ALL special needs kids she sees, I believe. She is a special woman all around. I am lucky to have her as my sister.
